Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Knoxville, TN)

Highbridge River Manufacturing is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
