Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Jackson, MS)

Highbridge Bright Community Partners Group runs community programmes across Jackson. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
