Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Houston, TX)

Northwind Lakeside Legal Group is a Houston practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with document review. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
