Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Ridge Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Houston, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
