Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Hartford, CT)

Summit Bridge Facilities is a facilities company in Hartford with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
