Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge Willow Community Partners is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with grant reporting. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
