Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (El Paso, TX)

Lumen Quarry Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around El Paso, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
