Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Cedar Civic Services and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
