Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Union Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Des Moines plant, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
