Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Chicago, IL)

Greenridge Ashton Foods is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
