Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Boise, ID)

Amberfield River Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Boise plant, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Boise. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
