Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Wichita, KS)

Ironwood Community Partners is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
