Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Virginia Beach, VA)

Ironwood Glen Civic Services is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for procurement, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
