Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Virginia Beach, VA)

Harborlight Stone Telecom is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
