Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Maple Markets and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 60 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
