Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Richmond, VA)

Harborlight Pine Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Richmond plant. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
