Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Fernwood Cobalt Community Partners is a nonprofit in Cleveland supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
