Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Harborlight Ashton Facilities is a facilities company in Austin with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
