Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Stonegate Ashton Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Jackson, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
