Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Bluepeak Forge Freight is a Birmingham logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
