Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Lumen Junction Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Boise plant, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
