Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Harborlight Junction Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Kansas City, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
