Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Silverline Corner Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Baltimore. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
