Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Northwind Quarry Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Charlotte with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
