Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Northwind Ivory Civic Services supports public agencies in Atlanta with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 112 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
