Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Summit Quarry Environmental Services is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
