Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Bright Birch Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Rochester with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
