Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Redstone Fern Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Indianapolis, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
