Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Ironwood Meadow Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Minneapolis area, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
