Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Portland, OR)

Foxglove Ember Construction is a Portland contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
