Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Omaha, NE)

Cedar Vale Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Omaha plant. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
