Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Madison, WI)

Cedar Amber Insurance Group is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
