Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Kansas City, MO)

Bluepeak Thistle Community Partners is a nonprofit in Kansas City supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
