Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Kansas City, MO)

Summit Fox Community Partners is a Kansas City charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 280 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
