Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Haven Learning Group and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. Families are partners. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
