Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Jackson, MS)

Redstone Granite Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Jackson, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
