Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Jackson, MS)

Bright Rook Markets is a Jackson retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
