Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Grand Rapids, MI)

Rivermark Keystone Civic Services supports public agencies in Grand Rapids with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 633 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
