Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Grand Rapids, MI)

Cedar Sparrow Arts Center is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for event logistics, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
