Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Grand Rapids, MI)

Lumen Hollow Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Grand Rapids region. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 70 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
