Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Granite Insurance and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
