Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Fresno, CA)

Ironwood Beacon Financial Group is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
