Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Haven Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Des Moines area. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 549 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
