Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Austin, TX)

Lumen Timber Manufacturing is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
