Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Austin, TX)

Silverline Ashton Foods is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
