Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Bright Cobalt Construction and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
