Senior IT Support Specialist - device setup (Atlanta, GA)

Fernwood Quill Facilities Group is a facilities company in Atlanta with crews on day and night shifts, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
