Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Virginia Beach, VA)

Rivermark Granite Water Authority Partners operates treatment plants and pipelines around Virginia Beach, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
