Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (San Diego, CA)

Redstone Umber Inspection Services Group is an inspection company in San Diego with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
