Senior IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Salt Lake City, UT)

Amberfield Granite Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Salt Lake City region. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 766 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
